FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. This is my first Skills Summit, what can I expect?
2. Do I have to stay at the Omni Shoreham Hotel?
Booking your reservation outside of the hotel room block via Internet travel sites or “shopping” for lower rates at nearby hotels has a long-term negative impact on the NSC Summit. Hotels place financial penalties on organizations for each room not used within their negotiated block of rooms thus making it harder for us to negotiate lower rates for our attendees in the future, which we are committed to doing.
By filling the block of reduced rate rooms that we have negotiated, we are able to meet our contractual hotel obligations to avoid any financial penalties to the organization and we are able to use this history as a strong negotiation tool to keep our rates for attendees low year after year. We appreciate your support of NSC by booking hotel rooms within our official block.
3. If I have a question regarding my registration, who should I contact?

4. If I have a question regarding my hotel stay, who should I contact?
Questions regarding your stay at the Omni Shoreham can be directed to the hotel through their website here or by calling 1.202.234.0700 or 1-800-THE-OMNI.
5. Can I cancel my registration or substitute within my organization?
Yes. The cancellation deadline for refunds is April 10. After this date no refunds will be issued. Cancellations are subject to a $75.00 processing fee and will be refunded within 2 weeks post-event via NSC’s electronic payment provider. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and emailed to events@nationalskillscoalition.org. We are unable to make any exceptions to the above policies. Thank you for your understanding.
The substitution deadline is April 10. We will not accept any substitutions after this date. Please email all substitution requests to events@nationalskillscoalition.org.
6. Will photography and videography be part of the Skills Summit?
By attending the National Skills Coalition Summit you agree to allow authorized associates/vendors of NSC, its licensees, successors, and assignees full and complete irrevocable permission, without reservation or restriction, to be photographed/recorded at the NSC Summit, in any manner (video, audio or electronic, etc.) and for them to use said photograph(s)/recording(s) as they deem appropriate in connection with the Conference or any Summit related activities.
7. Is NSC monitoring COVID-19 and CDC guidance?
